On Sept. 26, 2013, Governor Brown signed AB 106 into law, which includes clean-up language for the ultimate wind down of the State's Enterprise Zone Program. The bill revised the provisions of AB 93 to allow local Enterprise Zone/LAMBRA entities formerly authorized to issue a hiring credit voucher certificate to continue issuing certificates for one year after the Targeted Tax Areas expire on December 31, 2013. As a result, for eligible employees hired before December 31, 2013, the Sacramento Enterprise Zone will continue to accept voucher certificate applications and issue certificates up to November 30, 2014.
